Blue/Gold Frog Bookmark: Project Instructions

Follow our free beading instructions to learn how to make your own beaded bookmark. Our bookmark features black glass beads, and blue/green glass frogs!

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 12cm tigertail
  • 2 small crimps
  • 6 x 3mm plain metal beads
  • 6 large star bead caps
  • 3 frog glass beads
  • 2 x 8mm round faceted glass crystals
  • 1 x 6mm strong jump ring
  • 1 plain bookmark

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Crimping Pliers
  • Twirly Wirlies
  • Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Pick up your piece of tigertail and thread on a small crimp, followed by a plain metal bead. Thread the tigertail around the metal ball and back through the crimp. Pull up tightly, squish down the crimp and cut off any excess tigertail.

Thread onto your tigertail:

  • a large star bead cap
  • a frog glass bead (it's your choice which way you want your frogs to face ours are facing different directions)
  • a large star bead cap
  • a plain metal bead
  • an 8mm round faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a large star bead cap
  • a frog glass bead
  • a large star bead cap
  • a plain metal bead
  • an 8mm round faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a large star bead cap
  • a frog glass bead
  • a large star bead cap

Next, thread on a small crimp followed by a plain metal bead. Thread the tigertail through a jump ring, then back through the plain metal bead and crimp. Pull up tightly, squish down the crimp and cut off any excess tigertail.

Open up the jump ring and thread through the small hole at the end of the bookmark. Close securely. Your bookmark is now ready to use!
