Christmas Bookmark: Project Instructions

Stuck for Christmas ideas? Our easy to make Christmas bookmark teams red helix crystals with green faceted rondelle crystals. Simple stringing and crimping, and you've got yourself a handmade Christmas gift!

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 10cm tigertail
  • 2 small crimps
  • 1 small star bead cap
  • 5 x 3mm plain metal beads
  • 3 x 12mm inside colour faceted crystal rondelles
  • 2 x 7mm helix faceted glass crystals
  • 1 filigree metal tube
  • 1 x 6mm strong jump ring
  • 1 plain bookmark

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Crimping Pliers
  • Twirly Wirlies
  • Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Pick up your piece of tigertail and thread on a small crimp, followed by a small star bead cap and a plain metal bead. Thread the tigertail around the metal ball and back through the small star bead cap and the crimp. Pull up tightly, squish down the crimp and cut off any excess tigertail.

Thread onto your tigertail:

  • a faceted crystal rondelle
  • a plain metal bead
  • a 7mm helix faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a faceted crystal rondelle
  • a plain metal bead
  • a 7mm helix faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a faceted crystal rondelle

Next, thread on a small crimp, followed by a filigree metal tube. Thread the tigertail through a jump ring, then back through the filigree metal tube and crimp. Pull up tightly, squish down the crimp and cut off any excess tigertail.

Open up the jump ring and thread through the small hole at the end of the bookmark. Close securely. Your bookmark is now ready to use!
