Golden Rondelle Bookmark: Project Instructions

This gorgeous project makes use of our large rondelle crystal beads to create a simple bookmark. Follow our beading instructions to create your very own beaded bookmark!

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 1 plain bookmark
  • 10cm tigertail
  • 2 x 7mm helix crystal faceted glass crystals
  • 2 small crimps
  • 3 x 12mm inside colour faceted crystal rondelle glass beads
  • 5 x 3mm plain metal beads
  • 1 small star bead cap
  • 1 filigree metal tube
  • 1 x 6mm strong jump ring

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Crimping Pliers
  • Twirly Wirlies
  • Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

note: we used amber 12mm inside colour faceted crystal rondelle glass beads, pink crystals and gold findings

Pick up your piece of tigertail and thread on a small crimp, followed by a small star bead cap and a plain metal bead. Thread the tigertail around the metal ball and back through the small star bead cap and the crimp. Pull up tightly, squish down the crimp and cut off any excess tigertail.

Thread onto your tigertail:

  • a 12mm inside colour faceted crystal rondelle glass bead
  • a plain metal bead
  • an 7mm helix faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a 12mm inside colour faceted crystal rondelle glass bead
  • a plain metal bead
  • an 7mm helix faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a 12mm inside colour faceted crystal rondelle glass bead

Next, thread on a small crimp, followed by a filigree metal tube. Thread the tigertail through a jump ring, then back through the filigree metal tube and crimp. Pull up tightly, squish down the crimp and cut off any excess tigertail.

Open up the jump ring and thread through the small hole at the end of the bookmark. Close securely. Your bookmark is now ready to use!
