Silver Swarovski Scarf Jewellery: Project Instructions
Follow our free beading instructions to make your own Scarf Jewellery. Featuring Swarovski crystal beads This project turns a looped scarf into a sparkling fashion accessory.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
- 9 x 50mm eye pins
- 6 x 6mm crystal Swarovski bicones
- 6 x light grey 5mm Swarovski glass pearls
- 3 x 50mm head pins
- 12 x 6mm strong jump rings
- 1 x 8mm jump ring
- 1 scarf clip
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Twirly Wirlie Pliers
- 2 x Crimping Pliers
- Wire Cutters
INSTRUCTIONS
The Components
Pick up one of the eye pins and thread on a 6mm crystal clear Swarovski bicone bead. Leaving a space of 10 mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat process until you have 5 crystal clear Swarovski eye pin components and 4 light grey Swarovski pearl eye pin components. Put aside.
Pick up one of the head pins and thread on one Swarovski crystal clear bead. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat process so that you also have two light grey pearl head pin components.
Putting it together
You will be making 3 small chains of Swarovski crystal.
Pattern 1
Open a 6mm jump ring and thread on the crystal (clear) Swarovski head pin component and a light grey glass pearl eye pin component. Close securely.
Open another 6mm jump ring, and join the glass pearl eye pin component to a crystal eye pin component. Close securely.
Open another 6mm jump ring and join the crystal (clear) eye pin component to a glass pearl eye pin component. Close securely.
Open another 6 mm jump ring and connect to the top of the glass pearl component. Close securely.
Put this chain aside.
Pattern 2
Open a 6mm jump ring and thread on a glass pearl head pin component and a 6mm crystal (clear) eye pin component. Close securely.
Open another jump ring and connect the crystal (clear) eye pin component to a glass pearl eye pin component. Close securely
Open another 6mm jump ring and connect the glass pearl eye pin component to a crystal (clear) eye pin component. Close securely
Open another jump ring and connect to the top of the crystal (clear) component. Close securely and put aside.
Repeat the process so that you have two chains made to pattern 2.
Open the 8 mm jump ring and connect (through the top 6mm jump ring) a pattern 2 chain then a pattern 1 chain, then a pattern 2 chain. Close the 8mm jump ring securely. Thread the 8mm jump ring onto the large scarf clip.
Open the large scarf ring and close securely over your looped scarf.
