Amber Charm Tassel Elastic Bracelet: Project Instructions
Stretchy elastic is a great medium to work with - once threaded up, your bracelet will be easy to slip on, no clasps involved. This simple bracelet uses amber beads with a chain tassel as a feature.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
- 30cm x 1mm beading elastic
- 41 x 8mm rondelle glass beads
- 1 x flower barrel leather drop
- 12cm small chain
- 2 x 6mm strong jump rings
- 1 x tree of life metal charm
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Wire Cutters
- 2 x Crimping Pliers
- Glue
INSTRUCTIONS
Pick up your piece of beading elastic and tie a loose knot in one end. On the other end, thread on:
- 41 x 8mm rondelle glass beads
- 1 x flower barrel leather drop
Untie the loose knot, bring the two ends of the elastic together and pull up tightly, making sure the bracelet is tight. Tie a knot as if you're tying a balloon. Repeat the knot several times. Finish by adding a dab of clear nail polish or glue. Once dry, cut off any excess beading elastic.
Take your chain and cut it into three lengths of approximately 4cm. Open up one of the strong jump ring (as they are quite strong, you will need two sets of pliers) and thread on the three lengths of chain. Close securely.
Open up the second jump ring and thread it through the previous jump ring and the loop at the top of the charm. Whilst it is still open, thread it onto the bottom loop of the flower barrel leather drop and close securely. Your bracelet is now ready to wear!
