Threads
Thinner threads are often used when working with smaller seed beads or freshwater pearls, which tend to have a smaller hole. We have a range of fireline, silk, nymo, silamide, clearline, waxed hemp, cord and more available.
When restringing natural or freshwater pearls and gemstone beads, the griffin silk is very popular, as it is a strong thread cord that allows for the knots in between each bead. This means that if the worst was to happen and your necklace breaks, you've only lost one pearl or gemstone, rather than the full set. See our bead knotter in the tools category if you're looking to restring your pearls.
