Amber Lampwork Earrings: Project Instructions

Follow our free beading instructions to learn how to make these elegant amber earrings, featuring lampwork beads and bronze coloured findings. You will work with bead caps, eye pins, head pins and ear wires.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 2 head pins
  • 2 rose metal beads
  • 2 eyepins
  • 4 small barrel crown metal beads
  • 4 large star bead caps
  • 2 amber decorative rose lampwork beads
  • 2 ear wires

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Twirly Wirlie Pliers
  • Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Take a headpin and thread onto it:

  • a rose metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Put aside.

Take an eyepin and thread onto it:

  • a small barrel crown metal bead
  • a large star bead cap
  • a amber decorative rose lampwork bead
  • a large star bead cap
  • a small barrel crown metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Open up the loop you just made and attach to the head pin you threaded up first. Open up the loop on the other side of the eye pin and attach to the ear wire. Repeat to make the second earring.
