INSTRUCTIONS
The Pattern:
(you'll need this for most of the necklace)
- a rose metal bead
- an 8mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
- an 6mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
- a 3mm plain metal bead
- an 6mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
- an 8mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
Putting it together:
Pick up the first strand of tigertail. Thread on a small crimp, a jump ring, then thread back through the crimp. Pull up tightly and squish down the crimp. Cut off any excess tigertail. Place a crimp cover around the squashed crimp and gently squish into a round ball with your pliers to hide the crimp.
Thread on
- an 6mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
- an 8mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
Then thread on the pattern (as above) 17 times, so you have a total of 17 rose metal beads.
Then thread on:
- an 8mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
- an 6mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
Followed by a small crimp, a jump ring, then back through the crimp. Pull up tightly and squish down the crimp. Cut off any excess tigertail. Place a crimp cover around the squashed crimp and gently squish into a round ball with your pliers to hide the crimp.
Open up another jump ring. Thread on the bar part of the toggle clasp, then thread through one of the jump rings on the end of the strand. Close securely. Open the jump ring on the other end of the strand, thread on the circle part of the toggle clasp (thread through the loop at the top of the circle) and close securely.
The Drops:
Pick up one of the head pins. Thread on:
- an 8mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
- an 6mm rondelle faceted glass crystal bead
Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat this process 2 more times, so you have 3 drops.
Open up a jump ring and thread on one of the drops. Whilst it's still open, also thread on one of the lengths of chain. Close the jump ring. Open up another jump ring and attach to the other end of the chain.
Repeat this process 2 more times, so you have 3 drops attached to chain, with a jump ring on the end of each chain.
Putting it together:
Open up the jump ring on the end of the first drop and thread through the circle part (the main circle) of the toggle clasp. Close securely. Repeat with the second and third drops.
Your necklace is now ready to wear!
*Please note this pattern makes a 50cm necklace, simply add more or less beads to make your necklace longer or shorter*
