Christmas Wreath Hoop Earrings: Project Instructions

With a strong red and green theme, these hoop earrings are perfect for Christmas. Features glass crystal beads, pressed leaf beads and metal ribbons, follow our simple instructions to make your own.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 2 earring hoops
• 22 x 4mm red round faceted glass crystal beads
• 20 x green glass leaf beads
• 4 x 6mm strong jump rings
• 2 x 13mm connector bows
• 2 small jingle bells
• 2 earwires

TOOLS REQUIRED

• 2 x Crimping Pliers
• Wire Cutters
• Glue

INSTRUCTIONS

Take an earring hoop and gently open by pulling apart at the join. Thread on to it:

• a 4mm red round faceted glass crystal bead
• a small green glass leaf bead

Repeat this process until you have 10 glass leaves on your hoop. Finish with a red round faceted bead. Place a dab of glue on the end of the hoop wire and slot it back into the join. Gently press the join down with your crimping pliers. Repeat this process to make the second hoop.

Open the loop on the bottom of the earwire, and hook into the loop on the top of the earring hoop. Repeat this process to the second hoop.

Open up one of the jump rings and thread it through the second loop on the top of the earring hoop. Whilst it is still open, thread on one of the small metal bows, close securely. Open another jump ring and thread it onto the other side of the metal bow. Whilst it is still open, thread on one of the small bells and close securely. Repeat this process with the second hoop to finish off your earrings.
