Copper Clay Flower Earrings: Project Instructions

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 2 head pins
• 2 elm leaf metal beads
• 4 eye pins
• 4 small star bead caps
• 2 brown twisted rectangular glass beads
• 4 x 3mm plain metal beads
• 2 champagne small clay roses
• 2 standard ear wires

TOOLS REQUIRED

• Twirly Wirlie (Round Nose) Pliers
• Wire Cutters

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Create the Leaf Dangle

1. Take one head pin and thread on an elm leaf metal bead.

2. Leave approximately 10mm of pin above the bead.

3. Use your pliers to trim any excess and form a neat loop at the top.

4. Set this aside.

Step 2: Add the Bead Accent

1. Take one eye pin and thread on:

   • A star bead cap

   • A brown twisted rectangle glass bead

   • Another star bead cap

2. Trim the pin, leaving 10mm of wire.

3. Form a loop at the top.

4. Open this new loop and connect it to the loop of the elm leaf dangle from Step 1.

5. Set this component aside.

Step 3: Attach the Rose

1. Take another eye pin and thread on:

   • One 3mm plain metal bead

   • One champagne small clay rose

   • One more 3mm plain metal bead

2. As before, trim and form a loop.

3. Attach this loop to the bead component from Step 2.

4. Open the top loop of the eye pin and connect it to an ear wire.

Step 4: Repeat

Repeat Steps 1–3 to create the second earring.
