Dolphin Key/Handbag Dangle: Project Instructions

Make your own beach-inspired keyring or bag charm with this easy DIY jewellery project! STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

• 2 x 8mm jump rings
• 1 swivel clasp
• 1 large keyring
• 4 x 6mm strong jump rings
• 5 links x flattened oval loop chain
• 1 chain tassel
• 1 octopus metal charm
• 1 dolphin glass charm
• 1 seahorse metal charm

TOOLS REQUIRED

• 2 pairs of crimping pliers

INSTRUCTIONS

Our sample uses silver-coloured findings, but you can customise to suit your style.

1. Attach the swivel clasp to the key ring using one 8mm jump ring.
2. Use the second 8mm jump ring to connect the chain to the keyring.
3. Attach the chain tassel to the other end of the chain with a 6mm jump ring.
4. Connect the octopus charm to the first chain link (nearest the key ring).
5. Add the dolphin glass charm to the third link in the chain.
6. Finish by attaching the seahorse charm to the final chain link.
