Fire Charm Tassel Elastic Bracelet: Project Instructions
Stretchy elastic bracelets are comfortable, stylish, and easy to wear—no clasps required! This simple yet elegant bracelet features Duo Fire Mix beads in warm red, yellow, and amber tones, delicate filigree bead caps, and a charming chain tassel. In our example, we used copper-coloured findings, which beautifully complement the rich hues of the beads. The finished bracelet measures 17.5cm, but you can easily adjust the number of beads to create a shorter or longer piece for the perfect fit. Follow our step-by-step guide to create your own beautiful bracelet.

- 2 x 6mm strong jump rings
- 1 x Tree of Life metal charm
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Bead stopper

- 2 x Crimping Pliers
- Glue or clear nail polish
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Prepare the Elastic
-
Cut a 30cm length of beading elastic.
-
Attach a bead stopper at one end to prevent beads from slipping off.
Step 2: String the Beads
-
On the other end of the elastic, thread on the following pattern:
-
1 x filigree bead cap
-
1 x round tube glass bead
-
1 x filigree bead cap
-
1 x 3mm plain metal bead
-
-
Repeat this pattern until all 12 glass beads have been added, finishing with a filigree bead cap.
-
Thread on the flower barrel leather drop as the focal bead.
Step 3: Secure the Bracelet
-
Remove the bead stopper and bring both ends of the elastic together.
-
Pull the elastic tightly to ensure a snug fit.
-
Tie a secure knot (similar to tying a balloon), repeating several times for extra strength.
-
Apply a dab of clear nail polish or glue to seal the knot.
-
Once dry, trim off any excess elastic.
Step 4: Create and Attach the Chain Tassel
-
Open one 6mm jump ring using two pairs of pliers.
-
Thread on the chain tassel and close the jump ring securely.
-
Open the second 6mm jump ring and thread it through:
-
The first jump ring (holding the tassel)
-
The loop at the top of the Tree of Life charm
-
The bottom loop of the flower barrel leather drop
-
-
Close the jump ring securely.
