Pink Two Strand Chain Bracelet: Project Instructions

Pink Two Strand Chain Bracelet: Project Instructions

Pink two strand glass spacer beads form the focus of this colourful bracelet. Coupled with strong jump rings, eye pins and a magnetic clasp, this tigertail bracelet is certainly a popular one.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 12 eye pins
  • 16 x 6mm strong jump rings
  • 1 magnetic clasp with loops
  • 24 wide daisy spacers
  • 6 x 2 strand glass beads

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Crimping Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  • Twirly Wirlies

INSTRUCTIONS

Take an eye pin and thread on a wide daisy spacer. Thread the eye pin through one of the holes in the two strand glass bead. Thread on another wide daisy spacer. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Pick up another eye pin and thread on a wide daisy spacer. Thread the eye pin through the second hole in the two strand glass bead. Thread on another wide daisy spacer. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Put aside.

Repeat this process another 5 times to make a total of 6 beads with 2 eye pins threaded through each bead. Pick up one of the sets and open up one of the eye pins. Thread on a jump ring and close. Open up and thread a jump ring onto the other loop on the eye pin. Do the same with the second eye pin attached to the bead.

Pick up another bead set and open up one of the eye pin loops. Join it to the corresponding jump ring from the first set (i.e. join the top two eye pins with a jump ring and the bottom two eye pins with a jump ring). Repeat this process until you have joined all 6 sets.

On one end of your bracelet, join the two remaining jump rings with a third jump ring (as they are quite strong, you will need to use 2 sets of pliers, your crimping pliers and twirly wirlies will be fine). Whilst you have the third jump ring open, attach one end of the magnetic clasp. Repeat on the other side of the bracelet to finish.
