Red Crystal Hoop Earrings: Project Instructions
Red crystals alongside decorative metal beads give these earrings an elegant look. Follow our instructions to find out how to make them yourself.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
- 4 x 4mm round faceted crystals
- 2 x 12mm teardrop crystals
- 2 standard earwiresglue
- 2 earring hoops
- 12 barrel crown metal beads
- 4 x 7mm helix crystals
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Crimping Pliers
- Wire Cutters
INSTRUCTIONS
Take an earring hoop and gently open by pulling apart at the join. Thread on to it:
- a small barrell crown metal bead
- a 7mm helix crystal bead
- a small barrell crown metal bead
- a 4mm round faceted crystal bead
- a small barrell crown metal bead
- a 15mm faceted crystal drop
- a small barrell crown metal bead
- a 4mm round faceted crystal bead
- a small barrell crown metal bead
- a 7mm helix crystal bead
- a small barrell crown metal bead
Place a dab of superglue on the end of the hoop wire and slot it back into the join. Gently press the join down with your crimping pliers.
Do the same for the next earring.
Open the loop on the bottom of the earwire, and hook into the loop on the top of the earring hoop. Repeat to finish off your second earring.
