Simple Red & Blue Cube Earrings: Project Instructions

Create these elegant earrings using our fun and affordable budget glass beads! This simple yet stylish design is perfect for beginners and experienced beaders alike. Follow the step-by-step instructions to craft your own unique pair.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 4 x 50mm head pins
• 16 x 7mm cube glass beads
• 12 x 7mm heishi glass beads
• 2 earwires

TOOLS REQUIRED

• Twirly Wirlie Pliers
• Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1: Prepare Your Beaded Pins

1. Take a head pin and thread on:
   • 1 x 7mm cube glass bead
   • 1 x 7mm heishi glass bead
2. Repeat this pattern until you have 4 cube beads and 3 heishi beads on the pin.

Step 2: Trim and Loop

3. Leaving 10mm of space, trim the excess wire from the head pin using wire cutters.
4. Use Twirly Wirlie Pliers to create a loop at the end of the pin.

Step 3: Repeat and Customise

5. Repeat Steps 1–4 to create a total of 4 beaded pins.
6. Get creative with colour combinations by alternating bead colours and finishes!

Step 4: Attach to Earwires

7. Open the loop at the bottom of an earwire.
8. Slide two beaded pins onto the earwire.
9. Close the loop securely.
10. Repeat for the second earring.
