Swarovski Vitrail Chain Earrings: Project Instructions
Quick and simply, these sparkly earrings use 4mm, 6mm and 8mm Swarovski crystal bicone beads to create an elegant swinging design.
MATERIALS REQUIRED
- 2 decorative head pins
- 8 x 3mm plain metal beads
- 2 x 8mm crystal vitrail medium swarovski bicones
- 2 x 6mm crystal vitrail medium swarovski bicones
- 2 x 4mm crystal vitrail medium swarovski bicones
- 2 eye pins
- 2 earwires
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Twirly Wirlie Pliers
- Wire Cutters
INSTRUCTIONS
Take a decorative headpin and thread onto it:
- an 8mm crystal vitrail medium swarovski bicone
- a plain metal ball
Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Put aside. Take the eye pin and thread onto it:
- a plain metal ball
- a 4mm crystal vitrail medium swarovski bicone
- a plain metal ball
- a 6mm crystal vitrail medium swarovski bicone
Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Open up the loop you just made and attach to the head pin you threaded up first. Open the other end of the eye pin and attach to the ear wire. Repeat to make the second earring.
