This white flat beading elastic is a great option for creating stretchy bracelets and necklaces with a soft, flexible finish. Measuring approximately 1mm wide x 0.2mm thick, this cord is made up of multiple fine elastic threads woven together — giving it a different wear profile than round elastic.
While round elastic is generally stronger, many makers appreciate that this flat style gives a visual cue as it starts to wear — often a thread or two will fray before the whole piece gives out, offering the chance to re-string before a break.
