Sterling silver pendant featuring a large oval chalcedony stone, with two smaller round moonstone gems above and to the side, reminiscent of a musical note, all set in 925 sterling silver. The chalcedony piece is a translucent pale blue green colour.
Chalcedony is believed to be a stone that encourages nurturing and companionship, helping to absorb negative energy and promote group stability. Despite being composed of many tightly packed interlocking crystals, chalcedony quartz readily takes dyes, allowing for the many fun and unusual colours that are available. With a hardness of 7, quartz is one of the most abundant minerals on earth. It comes in a variety of colours and in two main groups: crystalline and cryptocrystalline (comprising of chalcedony etc).
The size of this pendant is approximately 56mm (including attached bail) x 30mm x 9mm. Attached bail is approximately 8mm tall.
Please note that colours, shapes and sizes within semi-precious gemstones vary slightly from pendant to pendant.
