Sterling silver pendant featuring a a small oval marquise rose quartz stone, set in sterling silver. The quartz in this pendant is very light - more a clear, with a slight hue of pink.
Quartz is one of the most common minerals in the world, the name is derived from the German word "Quarz". The stone was known as "icy cold" by the Ancient Greeks, as some philosophers believed the stone to be a form of supercooled ice.
Rose quartz is one of the most popular pink gemstones available. Commonly used in metaphysics and crystal healing, rose quartz is said to be the stone of friendship and love, capable of imparting a feeling of love and friendship. Some people use rose quartz beads to release emotional stress, either by wearing them, or creating an amulet or similar to have them close by.
The size of this pendant is approximately 45mm (including attached bail) x 18mm x 8mm. Attached bail is approximately 8mm tall.
