Black AB Memory Wire Bracelet: Project Instructions

Black AB Memory Wire Bracelet: Project Instructions

Memory wire bracelets are not only simple to make, they're easy to wear as well! Memory wire is a hardened wire that holds its shape - which means that a clasp is not necessary as the bracelet can be wrapped onto the wrist.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 4 loops of bracelet memory wire
  • 23 x 8mm round faceted glass crystals
  • 46 plain metal beads
  • 22 plain curved metal tubes
  • 2 x 6mm jump rings
  • 2 head pins
  • 2 filigree butterfly metal beads

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Memory Wire Cutters
  • Twirly Wirlies

INSTRUCTIONS

Pick up the memory wire and loop over one end. Thread on:

  • a plain metal bead
  • an 8mm round faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead
  • a plain curved metal tube

Repeat this pattern, until you have 22 tubes on your memory wire. Finish by threading on:

  • a plain metal bead
  • an 8mm round faceted glass crystal
  • a plain metal bead

Using your memory wire cutters, leave a gap of 10mm and cut off the excess wire. Loop over the end of the memory wire, so that none of the beads will fall off. Put aside for the moment.

Pick up one of the head pins, and thread on one of the filigree butterfly metal beads. Leaving a gap of 10mm, cut off the excess head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat process, so that you have two butterfly drops.

Open up one of the jump rings. Whilst it is open, join it to one end of the bracelet, and also thread on one of the butterfly drops. Close securely. Repeat process on the other end of the bracelet, using the second butterfly drop. Your bracelet is now ready to wear!
