Bronze & Cream Pearl Elastic Bracelet: Project Instructions

The Bohemium style bracelet is so simple to make, yet stunningly effective. It uses bronze coloured findings and cream coloured glass pearls and involves working with jump rings, elastic and chain.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

• 1 x flying heart metal charm
• 1 x Double Heart Metal Charm
• 1 x Cross Metal Charm
• 1 x Key Metal Charm
• 1 x Tree of Life Metal Charm
• 15 links of 7.5mm Medium Twisted Loop Chain
• 5 x 6mm Strong Jump Rings
• 30cm 1mm elastic
• 2 x large star bead caps
• 24 x thin filigree bead caps
• 11 x 8mm cream glass pearls

TOOLS REQUIRED

• Wire Cutters
• E6000 Beading Glue

INSTRUCTIONS

Pick up your piece of beading elastic and tie it onto one end of your chain, doing a double knot, and pull tightly making sure it is secure. Coat the knot with some E6000 beading glue.

Thread onto your elastic:

• a large star bead cap
• a 8mm cream glass pearl
• a thin filigree bead cap

Next, thread on:

• a thin filigree bead cap
• a 8mm cream glass pearl
• a thin filigree bead cap

Repeat the above pattern until you have twelve 8mm cream glass pearls threaded onto your elastic. Finally, thread on:

• a thin filigree bead cap
• a 8mm Cream glass pearls
• a large star bead cap

Pull your elastic tight and tie it onto the other end of your chain, doing a double knot, and pulling tightly making sure it is secure. Coat the knot with some E6000 beading glue (this will prevent it from becoming loose). Once dry, cut off any excess beading elastic.

Open up one of the strong jump ring (as they are quite strong, you will need two sets of pliers) and thread on the flying heart metal charm. Put the jumpring through the link in the middle of the chain (8th link). Close securely.

Open up another strong jump ring and thread on the key metal charm. Put the jump ring through the first link in the chain. Close securely.

Open up another strong jump ring and thread on the double heart metal charm. Put the jump ring through the 4th link in the chain. Close securely.

Open up another of the strong jump ring and thread on the cross metal charm. Put the jump ring through the 12th link in the chain and close securely.

Open up the last strong jump ring and thread on the tree of life metal charm. Put the jump ring through the 15th link in the chain and close securely.

Your bracelet is now ready to wear!
