MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 2 x 60cm tigertail
  • 3 small crimps
  • 2 x 6mm strong jump rings
  • 2 crimp covers
  • 36 x 6mm stardust metal beads
  • 114 x 3mm plain metal beads
  • 20 x 6mm glass pearls
  • 28 x 6mm rondelle glass crystal beads
  • 14 x 8mm rondelle glass crystal beads
  • 1 magnetic clasp with loops

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • 2 pairs of Crimping Pliers
  • Wire Cutters

INSTRUCTIONS

Take your two pieces of tigertail and thread through a small crimp, then through one of the strong jump rings. Thread back through the crimp, pull up tightly and squish down. Cut off any excess tigertail. Place a crimp cover around the squashed crimp and gently squish into a round ball with your pliers to hide the crimp.

Keeping the two strands together, thread on:

  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm glass pearl bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead

Repeat this pattern two more times, so that you have three glass pearls on your strand. Finish by threading on a 6mm stardust metal bead.

Split the two strands up, and thread five 3mm plain metal beads onto the first strand. Follow with:

  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm glass pearl bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • an 8mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead

Repeat 5 more times, so that you have six glass pearls on your strand. Finally, thread on:

  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm glass pearl bead

Finish by threading on five 3mm plain metal beads. To make sure everything doesn't fall off this strand whilst we are working on the other strand, thread a small crimp on the very end of the tigertail and squish down - this crimp will be cut off later, to complete the necklace, but in the meantime, it will ensure your hard work isn't lost.

Take the second strand and thread on five 3mm plain metal beads. Follow with:

  • a 6mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • an 8mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm glass pearl bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead

Repeat 6 more times, so that you have seven glass pearls on your strand. Finally, thread on:

  • a 6mm rondelle glass crystal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • an 8mm rondelle glass crystal bead

Finish by threading on five 3mm plain metal beads. Cut the crimp off the very end of strand one and bring the two strands back together. Then thread on:

  • a 6mm stardust metal bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a 6mm glass pearl bead
  • a 3mm plain metal bead

Repeat this pattern two more times, so that you have three glass pearls on your strand. Finish by threading on a 6mm stardust metal bead.

Thread through a small crimp, through a strong jump ring, then back through the small crimp. Pull up tightly (but leave enough space to put another crimp cover over the crimp) and squish down the small crimp. Cut off any excess tigertail. Place a crimp cover around the squashed crimp and gently squish into a round ball with your pliers to hide the crimp.

Open up one of the jump rings (as they are quite strong, you will need two pairs of pliers or a jump ring tool) and thread on one end of the magnetic clasp, close securely. Repeat with the other jump ring and the other end of the magnetic clasp. Your necklace is now ready to wear!
