Green Frog Earrings: Project Instructions

These simple earrings make use of cute silver frog charms and the perfect green bead! Simple techniques include working with jump rings and turning loops on eye pins. Read our free instructions to learn how!

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 2 eye pins
  • 4 x 3mm plain metal beads
  • 4 thin filigree bead caps
  • 2 dark green medium silver foil oval glass beads
  • 2 standard ear wires
  • 2 x 6mm strong jump rings
  • 2 leaping frog metal charms

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • Twirly Wirlie Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  • 2 x Crimping Pliers

INSTRUCTIONS

Take an eyepin and thread onto it:

  • a 3mm plain metal bead
  • a thin filigree bead cap
  • a dark green medium silver foil oval glass bead
  • a thin filigree bead cap
  • a 3mm plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Open up the loop you just made and attach to the ear wire.

Open up the 6mm strong jump ring (as they are quite strong, you will need two sets of pliers) and attach the leaping frog metal charm, then attach to the other end of your eye pin. Repeat to make the second earring.
