Kids Single Pink Elastic Bracelet: Project Instructions

Stretchy elastic is a great medium to work with - once threaded up, your bracelet will be easy to slip on, no clasps involved. This simple bracelet uses pink beads with a large hole metal bead and charms to hide the knot. Scroll down to see the youtube video!

MATERIALS REQUIRED

  • 18 x pink rondelle glass beads
  • 8 x translucent pink round glass beads
  • 1 x pink butterfly feature glass bead
  • 30cm x 1mm beading elastic
  • 1 x flower barrel leather drop
  • 3 x 6mm strong jump rings
  • 2 x charms

TOOLS REQUIRED

  • 2 x crimping pliers
  • scissors
  • glue

INSTRUCTIONS

Pick up your piece of beading elastic and hold on tightly to one end (or tie a loose knot). On the other end, thread on:

  • 2 x pink rondelle glass beads
  • 1 x translucent pink round glass beads

Repeat this pattern another 3 times, so that you have 4 round glass beads threaded on. Then add on one more rondelle glass bead, the butterfly feature glass bead and another rondelle glass bead.

Next, thread on:

  • 1 x translucent pink round glass beads
  • 2 x pink rondelle glass beads

Repeat this pattern another 3 times, so that you have 4 round glass beads threaded on. Then thread on two more rondelle glass beads followed by the flower barrel leather drop.

Bring the two ends of the elastic together and pull up tightly, making sure the bracelet is tight. Tie a knot as if you're tying a balloon. Repeat the knot several times. Finish by adding a dab of clear nail polish or glue. Once dry, cut off any excess beading elastic.

To finish your bracelet, open up one of the jump rings, thread it onto one of the charms and close securely. Open up the second jump ring, thread it onto the second charm and close securely. Finally, open up the last jump ring, thread it through the previous two jump rings and the loop on the bottom of the leather drop and close securely.

Your bracelet is now ready to wear!
