INSTRUCTIONS
note: quantities in indicated make a 'long' necklace (our necklace is approx 1m). To make a longer necklace, simply add more chain. Our necklace was made with silver coloured findings.
Cut the chain so that you have two pieces of 11.5cm, one piece of 20cm, one piece of 23cm and five pieces of 5.5cm.
Pick up the 20cm piece of chain, open the first link (as the links are quite strong, you will need two sets of pliers) and attach the large parrot clasp, close securely. Open up the last link in the chain and attach it to one of the large closed rings. Pick up one of the 11.5cm pieces of chain, open one end and attach it to the same large closed ring. Put aside.
Pick up the 23cm piece of chain. Open the first link and thread on the 'created for you' butterfly charm, close securely. Open up the last link in the chain and attach to the second large closed ring, close securely. Pick up the second 11.5cm piece of chain, open one end, then attach to the same large closed ring. Close securely.
Open a strong jump ring and attach the two ends of the 11.5cm piece of chain. Whilst the ring is still open, thread on the loop at the top of the open heart metal charm, close securely. Open another strong jump ring and attach one of the 5.5cm pieces of chain to the bottom point of the open heart charm, close securely.
Open up at large bail and attach to the flat pear crystal drop. Open a strong jump ring and attach to the top of the bail. Whilst it is still open, attach it to the first link in the 5.5cm chain that is attached to the bottom of the heart charm.
Open another strong jump ring and attach a charm to the second link of the 5.5cm chain.
Pick up the head pin and thread on the 14mm sparkly diamante metal ball. Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Use a strong jump ring to attach the loop to the third link of the 5.5cm chain.
Use strong jump rings to attach the remaining charms on every second link of the 5.5cm chain.
Making the tassel
Open a strong jump ring and join the top link of the four remaining 5.5cm chains together. Whilst the jump ring is still open, thread it through the last link in the 5.5cm piece of chain that the charms are attached to. Close securely. Your necklace is now ready to wear!
