INSTRUCTIONS

The Components

Pick up one of the eye pins and thread on:

  • a plain metal bead
  • a 7mm helix glass crystal bead
  • a plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the eye pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat process another 19 times, so that you have 20 crystal links. Put aside.

Pick up one of the head pins and thread on:

  • a plain metal bead
  • a large glass flower bead (base down)
  • a plain metal bead

Leaving a space of 10mm, cut the excess off the head pin. Twirl the end using your twirly wirlies. Repeat process another 18 times, so that you have 19 flower drops.

Pick up one of the flower drops and add a jump ring to the loop. Repeat for four more of the flower drops, so that you have five jump ring flower drops.

Putting it together

Open a jump ring and thread on two crystal links. Close securely. Open another jump ring, and join to one of the previous crystal links. Whilst it is still open, add a new crystal link. Close securely. Continuing doing this until you have made a chain of 6 crystal links.

Open another jump ring, and thread on the previous crystal link. Whilst it is still open, also thread on a new crystal link, and one of the jump ring flower drops, then close securely. Open another jump ring, and thread through the other end of the previous crystal link. Whilst the jump ring is still open, thread on a new crystal link and one of the jump ring flower drops, then close securely. You should now have a chain of 6 crystal links, then 2 more links which include flower drops.

Open another jump ring, and thread through the other end of the previous crystal link. Whilst the jump ring is still open, thread on a new crystal link, one of the flower drops, one of the jump ring flower drops then one more of the normal flower drops. Close securely.

Repeat this until you have a chain comprising of:

  • 6 plain crystal links
  • [flower drop] - crystal link - [flower drop] - crystal link
  • [3 flower drops] - crystal link - [3 flower drops] - crystal link - [3 flower drops] - crystal link - [3 flower drops] - crystal link - [3 flower drops] - crystal link

Finally, we need to make our chain symmetrical: open another jump ring, and thread through the other end of the previous crystal link. Whilst the jump ring is still open, also thread on a new crystal link and one of the flower drops. Close securely. Repeat this step again, so that you have two single flower drops dangling between crystal links.

Open another jump ring, thread through the other end of the previous crystal link. Whilst the jump ring is still open, also thread on a new crystal link and close securely. Repeat 4 more times.

To finish your necklace, open a jump ring, and attach to one end of the chain, close securely. Open another jump ring, thread on the parrot clasp and attach to the other end of the chain.Your necklace is now ready to wear!
