Friendship Bracelets

Were you or someone you know one of the lucky ones to secure one of the most sought after concert tickets in the country?!

Congratulations! Now, it's time to start getting ready! Trading colourful handmade beaded friendship bracelets with other fans at Taylor Swift concerts has fast become one of the stand out activities for concert attendees - it's a fun way to meet new people and show off your style as a Swifty!

There are no rules - our beads come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colours, perfect for adding that unique touch to your look. Keep an eye on our insta over the coming weeks and months to get inspiration for bracelet designs - we'd love to see what you're creating, so tag us with #eurekabeads!

Orders are posted out daily (with Click & Collect available) or come by and browse all the goodies at our shop in Cheltenham (open 11am to 2pm weekdays)!

Below are some of the bracelets that I've made to give you some inspiration and get you started! Check back regularly as I add more :)

HOW DO I MAKE AN ELASTIC BRACELET?

Simply string up your beads and then bring the ends of the elastic together and tie off like you would a balloon, bringing the ends back on themselves.

Some hints:

  • before you start stringing beads, add a bead stopper so everything doesn't slide off the other end (or for a budget version, try a paperclip!)
  • if any of your beads have a larger hole, try to arrange it so that the knot is just to the side of that bead - once you tie the knot, tuck it into hole so it isn't as noticeable
  • if none of your beads have a large hole, consider buying some just for that reason!
  • if you have young children or are just finding the elastic a bit wobbly, try painting a short length on the end with a bit of nail polish and letting it dry, creating a temporary "needle" to make it easier to thread (alternatively we have fabulous big eye needles which are perfect for this)
  • want to add a dangly charm to your elastic bracelet? our plain charm drops are perfect for this, and more elegant than just a jump ring.
  • add a dab of E6000 glue (use a toothpick for easy application!) or clear nail polish at the knot for a bit of extra security
  • we normally recommend tying the end off like you're tying a balloon, because it's quick and simple for most people. if you're having trouble making this knot hold, consider the more complex surgeon's knot
